TODAY IN BIOLOGY CLASS WE LEARNED THAT WHEN YOU MOW THE GRASS THE BLADES RELEASE A CHEMICAL THAT MAKES THAT GLORIOUS SMELL BUT THE REASON WHY THEY RELEASE THE CHEMICAL IS TO WARN OTHER GRASS BLADES OF DANGER SO WHEN WE SMELL THE FRESHLY CUT GRASS SMELL IT’S NOT JUST A GOOD SMELL IT’S THE SMELL OF THE BLOOD AND SCREAMS FOR HELP OF THOUSANDS OF GRASS BLADES
wat is the grass supposed to do about it
oh yes grass run for your lives
when someone ships my OTP with the same burning passion that i do
Have you ever started to drown?
Do you know the imbalance of hope you’ll live
At every water speckled breath reaches your lungs that you might survive.
And the known dreaded fear
That you don’t want to be real,
That you know you’ll sink…
Maybe when u take in the lungful of water
You’ll die in the most embarrassing position.
That everytime the water crests over your head
You know that ever staggered breath that’s threaded with water
May be your last
And you never understood when people say the last breath they thought they’d have
It tasted so sweet.
How can a breath taste sweet?
With every droplet of water accumulating in your lungs,
Your throat burns
Your nose feels like you inhaled pixie sticks,
Like kids stupidly used to do.
You wonder if you’ll ever see the people you care about again.
People say that your life flashes before your eyes,
I just had this feeling.
Of everything I’ve ever felt.
And when the water washes over you again, and you come up for a split second,
You kinda want to stop.
You don’t have time to think,
Wow, my clothes are so heavy.
Or to see your life on a film real.
It all happens with thought and fears
Dominating each other.
You wonder how stupid you had to be
To go out farther than you can reach.
Farther than you can touch bottom.
Ocasionaly you just sink.
Your arms falling numb,
Kinda like you slept in a strange
And you fight with yourself to get the will to propel yourself to the surface again.
Just to taste that sweetness of a breath
A kind of sweetness you never let go again.
You wonder if someone can be your hero,
To pull u up from the clutches of the once friendly blue
Just to bring you to shore
Which is closer than you thought.
At least that’s how I felt.
I’m drowning with you.
Youre my once friendly blue.
I guess we just learn to sink or swim.
